The history of NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky began in 1866 when it was a small bar owned by Mr Krasnapolsky. The staff were very friendly and actually upgraded us to an apartment free of charge as our room was unavailable because we arrived early! They did not have to do this.
The only problem with the apartment was the thin windows and although it backed onto a quiet street, it was sometimes noisey during the night.

The location, the food, the gentle of the staff
This is my second visit in this hotel. this time I was located in the external part of the hotel. I'm very disappointed from the room standards and the overall maintenance, the need to go out via the street to get into my room. I do think they have reserved this kind of room since I have orderd the room via your site, maybe the price they get is lower than regular reservation ???!!!I

I have frequently stayed at this hotel and normally have no problems.
However, Prior to departure on Monday, Barclays Bank informed me that my
visa debit card had been fraudulently used and stopped it. Luckily, I
also have a pre-pay master card (Tuxedo) and applied £700 to the card to
pay for the rooms (x3). On arrival, the hotel would not accept the card
because it was not a credit card!
